During World War 2, she was deployed to the Pacific to escort the United States' carrier fleet. Good yes but OP no way.The Missouri was laid down during Januand was launched during Januand was commissioned during June 11, 1944. Now that it is out and I have played it I know it is not OP by any standards. While people whined and gnawed their finger nails worrying about it being OP I LOL'd at them based on what I saw in WIP replays and such. I felt the claims of OP were way off as it's release neared. People need to get off that train as it left the station a soon as Georgia was released and we all got to play it. And no way in hades is Georgia OP in any way, shape, form, or measure. Georgia is not better than Missouri however just different. Georgia has the secondary advantage obviously, a much faster reload if you slot MBM3 otherwise just a faster reload (and if you do slot MBM3 instead of APRM2 for that faster reload you sacrifice accuracy which it needs with just 6 guns), a little faster rudder, and those consumable gimmicks.īoth are good ships. Missouri's AA is better than Georgia's as well. Despite Georgia having larger caliber guns with better stats I actually give the gun edge to Missouri personally. Missouri has very accurate guns too, and more of them, and they will put more shells on target than Georgia on a consistent basis. They also basically have the same armor scheme and turn radius. They have the same exact speed 33 knots (minus speed boost of course). Georgia might be a bit OP in her current state.

Georgia has speed, accurate guns, fast recharging repair, insane reload when spec'd for it and long range very accurate secondaries. I'm 8 battles into Georgia and I can say it's a better all around ship than the Mizzou.
